Assessing Overall Survival Data Maturity: Comprehensive and Time-Dependent Approaches
A Talk by Eléna Dupuy (Biostatistician, Pierre Fabre)
About this Talk
This presentation discusses assessing data maturity in late-phase oncology trials, where censoring can increase uncertainty in time-to-event analyses. We introduce methods, including a follow-up completeness index and two time-dependent indexes for participant follow-up and survival estimate stability. Tested on two trials, these methods use threshold values (80% completeness, 0.15 stability), validated through simulations, to automatically detect immature survival data effectively.
